Get to know Acceptance Recovery House
At Acceptance Recovery, you’ll make lifelong connections, learn accountability, learn how to have fun without substances, and most importantly, begin to experience a meaningful sober life.
We provide a structured and stable environment for individuals who have accepted they are powerless to substances and have a desire to live a substance-free life. Our sober living program assists residents in building a foundation to develop skills that support long-term recovery, personal growth and overall enhancement in quality of life.
Note: We are now accepting residents undergoing Medicine Assisted Treatment (MAT). Please contact us for more information.
What to Expect
Our program is a highly structured program utilizing a 12-step philosophy. But sober living is not just about recovery. It is also about building healthy relationships and finding joy in your life.
As a resident, you will:
- Build relationships with people who understand you
- Find accountability for your individual recovery journey
- Commit to regular recovery meeting attendance
- Join other residents for house meetings and outings
- Participate in house maintenance and community service
- Aim to secure long-term housing within 6 months to 1 year
At ARH, I’ve learned that I truly want to be sober.
Now I have the resources that I was looking for, and I have the most freedom here that I have ever had being in a program. I have my own choices in my own recovery.– Tom, ARH Resident
